Two faces of fate

One face resolves the roll. The other carries the story.

The labyrinth side makes seven dice systems readable on one object. Turn it over to reveal the Mage: a sculpted relief framed by forest and fungi.

The Labyrinth

Seven dedicated channels sit beneath a clear cover. Each track maps to a familiar tabletop roll.

Reading guide

One shake. Seven dedicated readings.

Choose the roll your game calls for, set the balls in motion, let the disc rest flat, and read the matching track. Percentile rolls combine the fourth and fifth tracks.

Seven concentric dice tracks Tracks one through seven represent d4, d6, d8, d10, d100, d12 and d20. For d100, use Track 5 for tens and Track 4 for ones. SELECT A TRACK

Track 5 / d100

Tracks 5 + 4 read d100

One shake produces both digits. Track 5 gives the tens (00-90), and Track 4 gives the ones (0-9). Add them together.

Special case: 00 on Track 5 plus 0 on Track 4 is read as 100.

  1. 1Set it in motion. Shake, roll, or tilt the disc so the track balls travel.
  2. 2Let it settle. Bring the disc flat and wait for the balls to come to rest.
  3. 3Read the right track. Use one track for d4-d20, or combine Tracks 5 and 4 for d100.

Prototype to production

Built in metal, refined through real samples.

This page shows a physical working prototype, not a product render. The next gates are production-file lock, a pre-production sample, functional testing, surface inspection, and packaging approval.

Production roadmap

From campaign approval to the game table.

The current schedule targets an April 2027 delivery and includes a pre-production sample plus multiple quality-control checkpoints.

  1. Evidence and approval

Finalize prototype proof, project review materials, and campaign readiness.

  2. Campaign and file lock

Run the planned 30-day Kickstarter campaign and lock production files.

  3. Pre-production sample

Confirm dimensions, track movement, readability, finishes, and packaging.

  4. Production

Machine components, apply surface finishes, and prepare assembly.

  5. Assembly and QC

Run first-piece checks, in-process inspection, and functional testing.

  6. Freight preparation

Complete packing, carton checks, regional allocation, and freight booking.

  7. Fulfillment begins

Transfer inventory to fulfillment partners and issue tracking by batch.

  8. Estimated delivery

Target delivery window for backers, subject to destination and customs.

Clear answers

Prototype facts, risks, and common questions.

What could change?

The working principle and seven-track layout are established in the prototype. Production refinements may affect small details such as channel tolerance, marker contrast, texture, shine, packaging, or internal assembly. Any material change will be shown to backers before fulfillment.

Is the product shown here real?

Yes. The product photography on this page shows a physical working prototype. It is not a rendering. The final production sample will still need to pass dimensional, movement, finish, readability, and packaging checks.

How do I read a percentile result?

Shake once and read two tracks. Track 5 gives the tens from 00 to 90, while Track 4 gives the ones from 0 to 9. For example, 30 plus 7 equals 37. The special result 00 plus 0 is read as 100.

Is it certified for statistical or casino use?

No. Labyrinth Magic Dice is a physical tabletop gaming accessory, not a certified casino randomizer. Motion and starting conditions create variation, and the team will continue functional testing and publish uninterrupted prototype demonstrations before production.

What happens if a ball does not settle cleanly?

Set the disc flat and give it a gentle tilt to continue the movement. Channel tolerances are part of the pre-production approval process, and production units are planned to receive a functional movement check before packing.

When do I choose a finish?

Finish selection is planned for the post-campaign survey. The available choices are Relic Bronze, Starpath Silver, Treasure Gold, Sacred Ruins, and Midnight Mist.

When is delivery expected?

The current estimated delivery is April 2027. Manufacturing, freight, customs, and regional delivery can affect timing, so progress will be reported through Kickstarter updates.
